Your Mom Pod is collaborating with Like A Mother Counseling to bring you more information and support.
Join our online Postpartum Preparation Workshop as we share tools, information and insight to maximize your postpartum experience. You will learn:
what perinatal mood and anxiety disorders look like (and practical strategies to prevent them!)
how to stay connected, share the load and communicate with your partner or support system
strategies to feel prepared for the changes that come with motherhood and postpartum
Here’s what participants are saying about the workshop:
"All of it was so helpful! I particularly appreciated learning about what is expected pp and what might be warning signs for mental health disorders, as well as how to navigate relational challenges that come along with postpartum. The workshop was a really great way to normalize the non-Hallmark realities of postpartum."
Our next Postpartum Preparation Workshop will be held in early 2024.

Transition Back to Work: early 2024
Societal expectations of working moms are unrealistic. Mothers are expected to raise children like they do not have careers, yet work like they do not have families. It is a lose-lose situation.
We must push back against that narrative, and explore where we have internalized that expectation for ourselves.
This workshop is for moms (and their partners/support system). It is an opportunity to prepare for the transition back to work.
We will explore the expectations we have for ourselves, and discuss how to advocate for yourself and your family. We will also offer practical tips for making the transition as smooth as possible.
